Valeria Loera is currently the program manager for the Aurora Financial Empowerment Center (FEC). Valeria was born and raised in Mexico City. She discovered that her passion lay in helping the community and decided to become an attorney. After moving to the U.S, Valeria realized there were many people, especially immigrants, that needed additional financial support and resources. In 2020, she was hired by The Neighbor Project to become one of the first financial counselors of the Aurora FEC, bringing hope and financial freedom to many families during a global pandemic. Through her work with the FEC, Valeria has assisted clients achieve their dream of becoming homeowners, as well as giving them the confidence to pursue future financial goals.
